Who we are

Gary Hartley-TriggGARY HARTLEY-TRIGG
Senior Consultant, Counselling in Schools
Gary’s clinical training is in Educational Psychotherapy which he undertook at the Caspari Foundation in London. He is registered with the UKCP as an Educational Psychotherapist. He is a counselling Supervisor accredited by the British Association for Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytical Supervision (BAPPS). Gary is also a trained teacher with over 25 years’ experience of working in schools. He works in private practice and is a trainer and consultant in many areas of psychodynamic thinking and theory and its relevance in schools.  Gary has also trained as an Expert Witness and is qualified to conduct the Attachment Style Interview (ASI) which is used to assist in assessment in the fostering and adoption field. Much of his experience and interest is in bereavement, attachment in looked-after-children, and working with people with learning disabilities

Sue JennerSUE JENNER
Sue trained as a Clinical Psychologist at the Institute of Psychiatry & Maudsley Hospital in London. She has over 25 years experience of working with parents and children in a variety of settings and pioneered the use of the Parent/Child Game in the U.K. Sue has written two books for parents, The Parent/Child Game and The Parent/Baby Game (Bloomsbury). She now works as an Independent Consultant Clinical Psychologist; Expert Witness in over 300 court cases; trainer; lecturer and therapist. Sue is also trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy; the Webster Stratton Parenting Group approach; the Mellow Parenting Group technique and the Adult attachment Interview. Sue's major interest is in improving attachments between parents and children and thus ameliorating emotional and behavioural problems in the family.

Maggie Lindsay RoxburghMAGGIE LINDSAY ROXBURGH
Maggie Lindsay Roxburgh, MBACP, holds a Certificate in Counselling skills, the Advanced Certificate in Counselling Skills and Theory, and the Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Psychodynamic). She took the Kent County Council for Addiction course in 2001 and studied at the Women's Therapy Centre, London, between 2001 and 2002 on the "Working with Women, A Psychodynamic Approach" course. She is particularly interested in working with women and with children. She has experience working with women in prisons, and with women and children in Women's Refuges. Until December 2006 she worked as a Librarian/Curator then took early retirement to concentrate on her counselling work. She is currently studying for a Clinical Doctorate in Psychotherapy at Kent University.
